Moissanite Jewellery Guarantee

North Star Moissanite Canada stands behind all of our merchandise sold to our customers. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return your order for a full refund (see exceptions below) less shipping and handling charges incurred and any applicable ring resizing fee within 30 days from the date of receipt. This policy gives our customers peace of mind and ensures complete satisfaction with our moissanite diamonds. The item(s) should be returned together with the invoice in its original condition, undamaged, not worn, no scratches or marks and have not been resized or altered in any way.

Exceptions: North Star cannot except returns for all full eternity bands as they cannot be resized; platinum items as they cannot be reused as well as all custom made jewellery.

Warranty for Moissanite Jewellery

Charles & Colvard is committed to ensuring the quality and longevity of Classic, FOREVER BRILLIANT™ & and FOREVER ONE™ Moissanite gems. Each stone will be accompanied by a Charles & Colvard certification as a warranty for the stone's optical properties, fire and brilliance and laser inscribed on the girdle for easy identification. FOREVER BRILLIANT™ and FOREVER ONE™ Moissanite gemstones carry the same Limited Lifetime Warranty as all other Charles & Colvard lab created diamonds for maintaining their optical property of brilliance.

Any third-party alterations or enhancement treatments made to Moissanite created gemstones are not supported by Charles & Colvard.

The warranty does not include theft, loss or disappearance or damage due to improper use or abuse. North Star Moissanite Canada has a one-year manufacturer's warranty on all of its jewellery.

All of our jewellery will come with Charles & Colvard's Limited Lifetime Warranty and Certificate of Authenticity card.

Moissanite Jewellery Return Policy

To ensure that your returns are processed in a timely and efficient manner, the item(s) must be returned in new and resalable condition without any scratches or marks, in the original packaging or boxes and with all the original paperwork. We cannot accept any return that show signs of being used. All items must be properly returned under this policy and those stipulated in the "Guarantee" to be eligible for the appropriate refund.

Procedure for returning an item to North Star Moissanite Canada:
  • Contact us by e-mail at sales@yoursforever.ca or by phone at 1-800-828-5415 or (905) 780-8171 to receive a Return Product Authorization (RPA) number and the return shipping address.
  • Identify your RPA number on your original invoice and repack your item(s) with the original packaging.
  • Ship your return prepaid and insured for the full purchase price by a carrier that offers package tracking such as Canada Post Express Mail to the address on our website.
  • We will then notify you once we have approved and processed your return.

Sales Tax for Moissanite Purchases

North Star Moissanite Canada will be required to collect the applicable sales tax on all purchases shipped within Canada. The appropriate amount will be added to the purchase total.

North Star Moissanite's Privacy Policy

We are committed to ensure the utmost security and protection of our customers' personal information. This is our top priority and is particularly essential for this type of business.

While North Star Moissanite Canada is hosted by Back2Front, no personal information including credit card numbers are stored on their server. Any personal information requested from the customer is used solely to process orders and to provide information regarding the company. Financial information that is obtained from the customer will be used only to bill the customer for the purchase of the products. In the event that the customer does not want to receive future information regarding the company, users may opt-out of receiving any future mailings by sending an email to sales@yoursforever.ca or by calling us at 1 (800) 828-5415 or at (905) 780-8171.

Ordering and Payment Options for Moissanite Jewellery

  • Orders can be placed through Paypal, Internet Secure's secure server by Visa, MasterCard, Amex, or Discover as well as e-transfer. E-transfers can be emailed to sales@yoursforever.ca.
  • Payments can also be made through money order and personal checks made payable to North Star Moissanite Canada. All personal checks will need to be cleared with the bank prior to delivery of the order.

Delivery of Moissanite Jewellery

Each order will be custom made and manufactured to your specifications. Most items are shipped within 10 business days upon receipt of the order via Canada Post Express Mail. North Star Moissanite Canada is a customer-focused organization and strongly places our service to our customers as paramount as the quality of our products and the competitive pricing we provide. In the event of any unforeseen lengthy delays, our customers will be immediately notified either through email and/or by phone of the status of the order. There will be no shipping and insurance charges for any shipments made within Canada.

Shipping and Handling Charges for Moissanite Jewellery

There will be no shipping and handling charges for any orders shipped within Canada. There will be a charge of $50 CAD for shipping to the United States. For international shipping, please email for a quote.

Ring Size

North Star is not responsible for incorrect ring sizes provided by the customers. It is the responsibility of the customer to confirm the ring size. The ring size can be confirmed by reputable local jewellers before placing the order with North Star. It is highly recommended confirming the ring size by more than one jeweller to eliminate any errors in measurements. Most of our rings can be resized by other jewellers. However, if the ring has diamonds on the band or multiple stones, extra care must be given to resizing (especially for sizing down), as these stones may become loose during the process and may require to be reset or re-fastened. North Star will be more than happy to resize your ring for a nominal resizing fee and S&H but the customer is responsible to send the ring in. Please email us for a resizing quote.

If you think your ring is incorrectly sized by North Star, you must send the ring back to us in within 30 days in order for us to confirm the error. If the error is made by North Star, we will resize the ring to the correct size at no charge. In addition, we will reimburse your shipping cost. However, you must first pay for shipping to get your ring to us. If you choose to have your ring resized by any other jeweller, North-Star will not reimburse the resizing fee charged by other jewellers since we cannot confirm the original ring size claimed to be incorrect.

Please also be advised that full eternity bands cannot be resized; therefore, the ring size should be confirmed by multiple jewellers. It is recommended that full eternity bands are even ordered a ¼ or ½ size larger to be on the safe side.
